The FBN Team visited Vincentian Foundation, one of FBN’s Social Building Partners since pre-pandemic, and its 2-story model houses in Payatas, Quezon City last May 9, 2023. Welcomed and accommodated by Ms. Luz Tiongson, Liaison and Finance Office & Project Coordinator of Payatas and Bagong Silangan Communities, FBN was able to explore the newly constructed 2-story model house for poor families in the said area. It also served as the new office of the Elderly Care Association of Payatas Inc., one of Vincentian’s programs for the elderly members of the community.
Since its partnership, FairBuilding Network has been able to help in highlighting Vincentian’s construction projects in the market for them to acquire discounted or donated materials from different FBN Industry Partners. Last year, they acquired PVC and lighting materials that were used in model houses in Payatas and in the improvement of the vulnerable community of Brgy. Bagong Silangan, Quezon City.
